This session will give you confidence, using real-world tools, examples and scenarios, on how to go about establishing visibility of this important platform in your organisation - ensuring your users feel empowered and supported (and productive!), while IT understands usage and can establish oversight andĬontrols for a secure, robust, compliant platform. The type and classification of data being consumed and sent from these applications and workflows? Who your users turn to for support and training? What applications and workflows are business-critical, and which are for personal productivity? Who your power users and champions within the business are? How the Power Platform is currently is being used? By the time the IT department realises, there are 2000 apps and flows in the wild and it's a mess!Įnd users love how these tools can rapidly deliver business value for them and their business units, but often create business-critical applications without IT's knowledge, or worse, open the organisation up to possible data leakage. Often organisations have enabled these tools without understanding how to maintain appropriate visibility and controls, or they've been enabled by default without appropriate consideration given. I'll give my take on the best way to roll out the platform (when, what, how), and how to engage your staff based on real-world experience across large enterprises with complicated structures and complex political landscapes. This session will focus on enabling your staff to achieve real value with these tools, guided by guard rails while ensuring they know where to turn to get the tools and resources they need to thrive.
